I know there are still people who watch and read Spiderman,X-Men.I remember the times I would tune in the TV to watch GI joe and Robocop.Later Star Trek Series and X-Men.
With Walt Disney buying Marvel, does this mean Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck is putting an end to our dear Spiderman and all our mutant X-Men.Or would it mark a new era for Spiderman and X-men and rest of the wonderful characters that Marvel comics have created? | |

| OMG! It was all but empy I was surprised Star Trek | | I took "Uncle" to a movie for his birthday. The movie he wanted to see was Star Trek. It has been doing well at the box office and most seem to enjoy it. The new Star Trek has moved up to a new level, now ranking amongst some of the top tier films although still not in the same league as mega blockbusters like Star Wars. We are talking hundreds of millions in box office $$. So I was surprised when I entered the theatre. After we sat down we were 5 people total for the showing. It was empty. Evening weekend I thought we'd have trouble getting good seats.. Ever been surprised at an empty theater? | |
